a dose of grey

would surely help

From the top is 5 ply plucky knitter sport, BFL sport and some random grey from Dairing yarns in Melbourne – what am I doing with them?

The top is now partly a cardie the other balls of grey well I am not sure what to do with these – perhaps an Audrey with the middle one, a BFL from socks that rock and a large cowl with the bottom one.

and I have been knitting a cardigan would you believe

the day that the new twist collective came out I bought Shetland trader’s new pattern and cast on the following Saturday after winding off a few balls of yarn.

I have made quite good progress doing the decreases and pockets and then the increases.  Sadly last night I hit a snag and added in a few extra butterflies in a row – instead of ripping back I tried to drop the 6 stitches – but I think a bigger mess has been made – oh well better luck tonight or during the weekend with sunlight.  Tom sat on it and stopped progress for a little while on Saturday morning – I risked scratches and bites to retrieve it…..

We had a anniversary dinner at Hartsyard in Newtown the weekend before- YUM YUM

Had been this

It has been extremely cold at work and the ground was frozen the other morning – I believe it was zero or below in Camden that morning……

I’ll be so interested in your views on this pattern. I queued it the moment I saw it. And in grey – how perfect!
